Command (⌘), Option (⌥), Control (⌃) and Shift (⇧) are separate modifiers. Commands can define their own key equivalents in Settings; avoid overriding the standard bindings above.
Board selection and presentation#

Typing Delete while editing a title edits the text; the board shortcuts are suppressed while a text editor owns focus.

These defaults apply while the file-tree context menu is open. They are not global editor shortcuts. Change or clear them in Settings → File Tree. New File, New Folder, Open in Preview, Open in Terminal and Open in MeatPad Terminal have no default menu binding.
